Episode Overview

Toni continues her therapy sessions with Dr. Miller, but instead of writing a letter to express her feelings to her mother, she brings Veretta into the therapy room. Veretta moves in with Toni and Todd, taking over their home. While Todd struggles to put up with her disrespectful behavior, he firmly asks her to stop smoking indoors. Veretta dismisses his request, asserting that since Toni pays the bills, Todd has no say. This leads to a fierce argument, culminating in Toni being forced to make a choice between her mother and her partner. Meanwhile, William grows concerned that his relationship with Donna may falter due to their differing backgrounds—she works as a nurse and prefers public transport. Determined to nurture their bond, he vows to fight for their future. Joan, on the other hand, becomes preoccupied with the idea of returning to her therapist after Lynn and Maya make pointed remarks.
