Wittlesey is moved to General Population, making way for Karl Metzger, a Nazi. Meanwhile, Mack and another Aryan attempt to escape through a tunnel dug by Busmalis and Rebadow, but the tunnel collapses, killing them both. Hill comes up with a plan to flee Oz by hiding in a coffin. Sippel returns to Oz, unable to cope with life outside, but Schillinger punishes him severely, even going so far as to crucify him. In a brutal turn, Alvarez blinds Rivera and is sentenced to life in solitary. Dr. Nathan discovers that only O'Reily has the matching blood type needed for Rivera's transfusion; he agrees to help in exchange for getting his brother Cyril closer. Keller and Schillinger viciously reveal their scheme to Beecher while breaking his limbs. Adebisi finds hope through fortune teller Kipkemei Jara, but his hopes are shattered when Wangler, acting on Antonio Nappa's orders,
