Episode Overview

In 1994, a ruthless gang brutally murders Carol, the manager of a building society, while her husband, Gordon, is bound and helpless. They steal a significant amount of cash, leaving the police perplexed. However, as they investigate further, inconsistencies in Gordon's emotional plea for assistance raise suspicions. The detectives begin to question the existence of the so-called gang, suspecting that Gordon may have orchestrated the crime, leading to the tragic death of his wife in a desperate attempt to secure financial gain.
