Episode Overview

In the Medicine Bow region, strip mining operations kick off, sparking a divide among the locals. Judge Garth views this as a step forward, while many residents see it as a threat to their lifestyle, particularly with the arrival of Polish miners. Among them is the captivating Polcia (Ulla Jacobsson). A romantic rivalry emerges as three men vie for her affection: Jan (Dean Fredericks), son of the miners’ leader; Jack Anderson (Don Galloway), son of the rancher opposing the mining; and Trampas, tasked by Judge Garth to aid the miners, who truly loves Polcia. Ethnic tensions ignite, leading to escalating conflicts and heartache.
