Episode Overview

Rancher Mike Tyrone, played by Ed Begley, buys a ranch close to Medicine Bow and relocates there with his daughter Margaret, portrayed by Beverly Owen, along with his two sons, Rees Vaughan and James McMullen. Determined to expand his holdings, Tyrone pressures neighboring ranchers to sell their land, even going so far as to divert water from a nearby river that supplies their livestock. The escalating tension takes an unexpected turn when Margaret Tyrone makes a surprising choice that resolves the conflict.
