Episode Overview
The Virginian recruits several hands to assist in moving cattle from Cheyenne to Shiloh, including a shy, literature-loving worker named Eddie Laredo (Fabian). Though Eddie takes a permanent position at Shiloh, he becomes the target of ridicule from locals, particularly the troublesome Bojo Sanders (Rayford Barnes) and saloon girl Molly Weems (Elizabeth McRae) due to his passion for Shakespeare. After Bojo is murdered, Molly claims Eddie is the killer, but her dubious background leads to the charges being dropped. However, when Molly is also found dead, Trampas witnesses Eddie fleeing the scene, casting suspicion on him and putting him at risk of the death penalty, despite Judge Garth's attempts to defend him.
