Episode Overview

In Albuquerque to collect funds for the cattlemen's association, Trampas crosses paths with Charity (Kathryn Hays), who robs him of some cash. Charity, heartbroken over Byron Prescott (Jerome Courtland), who was compelled to abandon her by his affluent family, is on a mission to reach Rancho Valdez to sell a ruby ring, a cherished heirloom from Byron. After Trampas catches up to her, they discover that Charity has also been swindled by a local guide, Judd (Warren Oates). Together, they pursue Judd, while Byron and Emmett Ryker, searching for the missing Trampas, follow closely behind.
