Episode Overview

At the Medicine Bow orphanage, young Toby Shea (Kurt Russell) spins tales about his wonderful father, but the other boys are skeptical. To gain their acceptance, he claims that Trampas is actually his dad. Meanwhile, Toby’s real father, Jim Shea (Rory Calhoun), recently released from prison, is on a quest to find him. However, he is being pursued by two former accomplices looking for hidden treasure. Jim takes a job at Shiloh Ranch, managing to keep his true identity under wraps until his past inevitably catches up with him.
