Episode Overview

Upon witnessing the devastation at the Concord battlefield, John Adams becomes a fervent advocate for Independence. His impatience with delegates from less affected colonies leads him to be abrasive and confrontational. However, with guidance from Abigail and Ben Franklin, he learns to recognize and nurture his allies, exercise patience, and capitalize on opportunities. Meanwhile, George Washington is appointed to lead the army, achieving victories despite facing supply challenges. Back in Massachusetts, Abigail and the children courageously support the war effort, only to confront the unpredictable dangers posed by nature.
