Episode Overview

Despite Abigail's heartfelt protests, John Adams and his son brave treacherous waters and a confrontation with the British Navy to meet Ben Franklin on a diplomatic journey to Paris. However, Ben struggles to manage John's confrontational nature, which proves to be even more incompatible with the refined atmosphere of Paris than it was in Philadelphia.
