Episode Overview

In the winter of 1908, Elizabeth finds herself captivated by a group of free-spirited Bohemians, particularly two individuals: Evelyn Larkin, a fervent Socialist activist, and her charming partner, Lawrence Kirbridge, a poetic dreamer. As her 21st birthday approaches and her parents are away, Lizzy decides to host the entire group at Eaton Place. However, her plans are dashed when the Bellamys return home unexpectedly, resulting in her friends being unceremoniously kicked out. Determined to demonstrate her independence from her parents, Lizzy takes a drastic step, leading to a rift with them and an unsettling revelation about Evelyn.
