Episode Overview
Mr. Richardson is staying at the hotel when Uncle Joe shares the eerie tale of Chester W. Farnsworth, a notorious towel thief and traveling salesman who stayed there fifty years prior. According to legend, Chester now haunts the hotels he robbed, unable to rest until he returns all the stolen towels. Uncle Joe suspects it’s only a matter of time before Chester makes his presence known at the Shady Rest. Shortly after the story, bizarre occurrences unfold. Kate learns that several traveling salesmen have canceled their stays until the curse is resolved. Seeking answers, Kate consults Doc Stuart, who advises her to reach out to Dr. Melman, a psychiatrist with expertise in the supernatural. A mysterious event leads everyone to believe Chester has finally come back and that the curse might be broken. But is he truly there?
