Episode Overview
Billie Jo is frustrated with the late arrival of the Cannonball, convinced it's no longer needed. Meanwhile, Homer Bedloe, the train's nemesis, is plagued by unsettling dreams about it. His therapist, Dr. Leonard, advises him to embrace the Cannonball to dispel his fears. As the train faces issues with damaged tracks, Kate takes the initiative to inform the C&FW Railroad. Bedloe responds, promising to repair them. When he visits the Shadyrest Hotel, Bedloe is taken aback by the warm reception, except from Uncle Joe. However, Kate is merely pretending to believe Bedloe's newfound affection for the train, as she discovers his true intention is to remove the tracks altogether. She devises a scheme to thwart his plans.
