Episode Overview

Mrs. Douglas invites a thrilled Betty Jo to join her for a week in New York City. After some reluctance, Kate agrees to let her go. Upon returning to Hooterville, Betty Jo exhibits a transformed demeanor, acting superior and dismissing her rural roots. Initially, Kate blames Mrs. Douglas for Betty Jo's new attitude, but soon realizes the true source of the change. With Mrs. Douglas's assistance, Kate prepares for the arrival of Gregory Tremayne, a charming young man Betty Jo met in the city. His visit ultimately helps Betty Jo rediscover her true feelings and priorities.
