Freaks and Geeks (1999)

Episode Overview

J.P. Marshall, the new owner of much of the valley’s farmland, arrives at the local hotel. Seizing a chance to land the crop dusting contract for his fields, Uncle Joe persuades Steve to cater to Marshall's wishes. Steve agrees, believing there won’t be any issues. However, he soon encounters Marshall's daughter, Millicent, who is keen on getting to know him. Meanwhile, Betty Jo feels threatened by Millicent and subtly reminds Steve of his marriage. Ultimately, Steve tells Mr. Marshall he refuses to be insincere for the sake of the contract. To his surprise, Mr. Marshall admires his honesty and awards him the contract.
