Episode Overview

Steve considers adopting 10-year-old Ernie, but faces resistance from Uncle Charley, who worries about the extra responsibility a new child would bring. The family is eager to make Ernie part of their lives, and Robbie suggests that Steve should charm the attractive Miss Coulter. Just as her boss arrives to evaluate their home, the boys have turned the place into a mess. However, by eight the next morning, Miss Miller comes back to find the house spotless, and she brings in a cheerful Ernie, who will be staying with them temporarily.
