Title: The Lethal Bolas Plot: Eager to uncover the whereabouts of the stolen jewels, Diego and Bernardo seek help from a local padre, but their efforts yield no results. Soon after, Carlos Murietta approaches Sergeant Garcia to report a missing trunk he had left at the tannery, which strengthens Diego's belief that Mordante concealed the jewels before his demise.
