Episode Overview
Title: Shades of Gray Plot: Amid rising tensions between Loengard and Albano, Bach is set on acquiring a glyph decoder from Juliet, believing it to be the key to seizing Majestic. Juliet ultimately agrees to let him use it to lure an alien vessel. While Loengard, Sayers, and Juliet replicate crop circles thought to signal landing zones, they unknowingly attract the attention of a young girl, the daughter of a widowed farmer. After returning her home, John and Kim can only hope Monica Gresham hasn’t witnessed too much. Their plan successfully brings in a ship, but the attempt to seize it falters. Bach allows John and Kim time to locate a wounded Gray. The alien seeks refuge at her father’s farm and promises Monica a glimpse of her deceased mother in exchange for her assistance. As Kim and John set up surveillance, they discover Monica searching for another vital artifact left by the ship and follow her back to the Gray's hiding spot.
