Episode Overview

After Soviet operatives shoot at a Hive ship in the Gulf of Tonkin, Bach asserts that American naval vessels were the intended targets, igniting the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Following air strikes that take down a Hive ship, Bach abducts Loengard for a reconnaissance mission. However, when military leaders express doubts about Majestic's Juliet Stuart collaborating with the Russians who are also tracking the Hive, Bach decides to accompany Loengard on the mission. Joined by Vietnamese guide Tay Ma, Loengard encounters a deranged American soldier and discovers a severed Gray head. Realizing the crash site has been compromised by the Viet Cong, Bach commands John to destroy it and calls for an air strike that could endanger them all.
