Malloy and Officer Woods come back from a fishing trip, reeking of fish, a situation worsened when a confused woman accidentally spills perfume in the backseat. Despite multiple attempts at the police garage, the odors remain stubbornly intact. Throughout the day, they encounter various incidents, including a silent woman alerting them to a break-in at a church, a false kidnapping report that turns out to be a man helping a drunk woman home, and a young boy whose bike was stolen by a bully, only to be retrieved by his friends who cornered the thief until the police showed up.
