Cybill immerses herself in her new role as the mother of a bubbly teenage girl on a sitcom. However, she soon discovers that the girl is actually a sassy, trend-savvy teen. Undeterred, Cybill is set on guiding this challenging young woman. Meanwhile, with Rachel's baby on the way, everyone is curious about who will be named godmother, leaving Maryann feeling upset when she's overlooked as a potential candidate.
