Episode Overview
Nancy is focused on her budding relationship with Matt, while Elliot is determined to regain her affection. After returning the kids, Elliot has an awkward encounter with Nancy's new boyfriend, Matt Enwright. At work, Elliot and Angel collaborate closely on pitches, and when Mike questions their connection, Elliot insists they are just friends. Nancy joyfully shares the news of her book deal with Melissa, Ellyn, and Hope, and later tells Elliot, who expresses his happiness but admits he misses her and wishes for a reconciliation. Nancy is uncertain how to react, mentioning her lingering distrust. Matt plans a dinner date at Nancy's, making it clear that intimacy is off the table. Meanwhile, Angel queries Michael about Elliot and Nancy's relationship, and Michael advises against pursuing anything with Elliot.
