Episode Overview

Melissa is thrilled to land a job working with Carly Simon after Russell showcases her photography. When he calls to share the exciting news, Ellyn is by her side, but Melissa keeps the party invitation for Carly a secret from her friend. Meanwhile, Michael and Elliot are on edge as they could lose their major client, Motherland Dairies, after its recent sale. They challenge Miles Drentell’s DAA ad agency to a basketball game but end up losing. Haunted by the game, Michael imagines himself making the winning shot. Later, they meet with the new owners of Motherland, who decide to part ways with them. While Michael fears it spells doom for their business, Elliot remains optimistic. The scene shifts to Russell and Melissa at the Steadman residence.
