Episode Overview

During a bombing run over Norway, Lieutenant Colonel Christy decides to call off the mission after losing 10 of his 21 planes. Upon his return, Gallagher expresses his frustration in an irate note to the newly promoted Major General Britt, questioning the rationale behind risking lives for a secret target. Britt summons Gallagher, leading him to what he discovers is Britt's promotion celebration, where he is taken aback to find his father, Lieutenant General Max Gallagher, in attendance. General Gallagher steps in to prevent General Pritchard from confronting Colonel Gallagher about the aborted mission.
