Episode Overview

Ted Master, a quintessential all-American athlete, joins the 918th squadron with his own press officer in tow. Eager to take to the skies, he instead finds himself assigned as the Assistant Adjutant by Gallagher. When Captain King is forced to make an emergency belly landing, Ted seizes the moment, posing proudly in front of King’s downed plane. After assessing Ted's abilities, Gallagher allows him to serve as an alternate co-pilot. During a critical mission, disaster strikes as many crew members, including the pilot, are injured, prompting Ted to take control and land the aircraft safely. He bravely rescues his fellow crew members from the flames and secures the bombing footage.
