Episode Overview
On a Monday afternoon in a wealthy Birmingham neighborhood, a husband calls 999 to confess that he has murdered his wife. Covered in blood, he is arrested outside their home, yet when questioned at the police station, he initially claims to have no recollection of the incident. Both residences are cordoned off, and crime scene coordinator Jo Ward takes charge of gathering forensic evidence to support or contradict the suspect's statement. Forensic scientist Phil Field arrives to conduct Blood Pattern Analysis, aiming to reconstruct the events leading up to the crime. The case shifts dramatically when digital forensics experts succeed in unlocking the suspect’s phone, uncovering a glimpse into his motive.
