S01E05 All About Yvette
Episode Overview
Ren and Charlotte are excitedly setting up the gym for a dance when things take a turn. Charlotte’s old friend Yvette arrives, and Ren begins to feel sidelined as Charlotte easily reconnects with her. Even Ren’s mom seems to favor Yvette, which only adds to Ren’s frustration. The tension escalates when Yvette accidentally knocks Ren off a ladder, causing her to crash through a large banner. Upset, Ren decides to end her friendship with Charlotte. Ren’s mom encourages her to consider that it’s possible to have multiple best friends, a notion Ren struggles to accept. At the dance, Ren unexpectedly meets Yvette in the bathroom, where Yvette admits she also feels out of place around Charlotte. The three girls eventually reconcile. Meanwhile, Louis is trying to prove to his mom that he’s responsible enough to babysit Twitty's little brother.
