Episode Overview

State Senator Eileen Stevens is campaigning for the position of secretary of state and enlists a political consultant to assist her. During a family meeting to discuss their public image, Louis bursts in with vegetables stuck in his hair as part of a science project, shocking the consultant. Eileen is set to announce her candidacy on a news broadcast, so the consultant outfits Louis in a suit with shorts for the occasion. Furious about the getup, Louis throws a tantrum, which reporter Cynthia Mills captures on film, dubbing him "the wild child." At school, Larry Beale revels in teasing Ren about her brother's antics, but Nelson steps in to defend her and ends up stuffed in a locker. Seeking guidance, he turns to Donnie, who invents a fake martial art called "ta-ting" using only pinky fingers. Though ridiculous, it boosts Nelson's confidence.
