Episode Overview

Ren is diligently fulfilling her role as the student administrative assistant to Principal Wexler, while Louis continues to find himself in trouble. After accidentally slamming his locker door into Mr. Wexler's face, the principal summons Mr. and Mrs. Stevens. Steve and Eileen propose that rather than punish Louis further, he should be given some responsibilities like Ren. Wexler agrees and appoints Louis as hall monitor. Twitty and Tawny are thrilled, thinking they can exploit Louis' new position to be late for class. However, things take a turn when Tom, who is serious about his hall monitor duties, initiates Louis into a secretive ritual in the basement. This experience transforms Louis, making him take his responsibilities seriously, to the point where he starts catching Twitty and Tawny breaking the rules. Wexler is impressed by Louis' newfound dedication and even supports his suggestion to install surveillance cameras.
