Episode Overview

Tawny, Twitty, and Tom are anticipating their meeting with Louis at the gym when they unexpectedly discover he’s part of the school’s diving team. During his first competition dive, Louis executes a comedic cannonball that sends a huge splash across the pool, much to the crowd's delight. Meanwhile, Ruby learns about the favorites for the upcoming class awards. Although Ren is expected to dominate, she gets competitive when she finds out that Kelly is leading in the "Best Smile" category, prompting her to aim for that title as well. When Louis returns home late, he hesitates to explain his whereabouts, but Ren reveals his diving team secret to their parents, Steve and Eileen, who are thrilled. That night, Ren practices her smile, and the following day at school, she faces off against Kelly in an intense "smile-down." At Louis' next diving event, his dad invites his boss, Mr. Kupchek, to witness Louis in action.
