Edoardo takes some time off, leaving Filippo to hand over the razor blade to the director. However, Paola struggles to get him to disclose who he was defending himself against. Meanwhile, Ciro discovers that Filippo was the one who took the razor blade. Pino is eager to teach him a lesson, but Ciro has other plans for Chiattillo. Filippo falls for Ciro's lure and agrees to accept his protection. Carmine cautions him that Ciro’s friendship comes with a price, binding him to the "system" and creating a debt for every favor. True to form, Ciro soon demands a test of bravery from Filippo to secure his loyalty. Meanwhile, Gemma is drawn into the female sphere, where Viola begins to manipulate her with her cunning tactics.
