Filippo and Carmine's friendship is strained just when they need each other the most. Filippo soon realizes the cost of Ciro's protection: he’ll have to meet his family at a restaurant during his leave. Meanwhile, Edoardo seizes the opportunity at the pottery workshop to pursue Teresa in his unique fashion. Gemma, through talks with her mother, uncovers the troubling state of her sister and becomes overwhelmed with guilt. At the same time, Viola, sensing Gemma's vulnerability, continues to hover around her.
