S01E06 Gravity
Episode Overview
Next time you toss a ball into the air and it doesn’t soar into space, give a nod to gravity. At this very moment, you and everything in your vicinity are being drawn toward the Earth by this invisible force. If you doubt it, give a book a gentle push off your desk, and watch it fall to the ground. This phenomenon is due to the Earth’s mass, which generates gravity, pulling down on all visible objects, including the air and oceans. Interestingly, every atom around you also exerts its own gravity, resulting in a subtle pull on the Earth itself. Without gravity, weight wouldn’t exist; your bathroom scale reflects this mutual attraction as it compresses under your weight. Gravity is the powerful force that unites all objects, influencing everything from tiny particles to massive celestial bodies.
