Episode Overview

During a neighborhood watch meeting, the Jenkins fall victim to a burglary while Brenda is in the kitchen on a phone call. Upon returning home, they discover that the thieves have stolen their armchair, television, radio, and lamp. This incident inspires Mary to think about revamping their living room. Meanwhile, Lester is eager to purchase a sports car. While he’s out test driving it, Brenda and the neighbors collaborate to surprise Mary. They transform the living room, filling it with items Mary had marked in a decorating magazine. Ultimately, Lester chooses to postpone the car purchase.
