Episode Overview
Lester heads to a friend's house to catch the game, while Mary and the other women plan a night out. They visit a club where Pearl meets a man named Felix, and they instantly connect. Upon returning home, Pearl excitedly informs Mary that she and Felix are now engaged. Mary is the only one who seems worried about the fast engagement, while Rose and Sandra are eager to organize a bridal shower. Mary suspects Felix is mainly after Pearl's wealth, but Pearl dismisses her concerns and goes through with the marriage. After Pearl comes back from her honeymoon, Mary reaches out to apologize. However, she receives devastating news: Felix has passed away. Pearl confesses that they were aware of his illness and rushed into marriage because she loved him and wanted to spare him loneliness.
