Title: The Working Game Plot: When Brenda returns from University Day with dreams of attending Northwestern, Mary feels the sting of an impending empty nest and insists that Lester give her a position at the construction site—only to be let go on her first day. She then secures a job at a travel agency alongside Sandra, where her boss quickly realizes her worth and invites her on a trip. When the boss makes advances toward Sandra, she quits and warns Mary against going. Ignoring the advice, Mary goes on the trip, prompting Sandra to inform Lester about the situation. He unexpectedly visits Mary in Philadelphia and mistakenly assumes the worst upon discovering a man's suit and bathrobe in her closet, only to learn that Mary purchased them as a surprise gift for him.
