Episode Overview
The gang heads to Atlantic City to celebrate Pearl's birthday at a Luther Vandross concert. While there, Mary hits a winning streak at the casino. Lester decides to team up with Julian to invest in an up-and-coming boxer. Pearl searches for Luther, but chaos ensues when a mob pursues him, leading to her antique diamond brooch being stolen. Meanwhile, Brenda and Calvin attempt to sneak into the casino, hoping to win a car. Travis discovers that his concert tickets were never ordered, prompting him to enter a comedy contest to score tickets for Pearl. In the midst of all this, Warren has a romantic weekend planned for Rose and proposes to her. However, when she rushes to share the news with her friends, Warren is caught flirting with another woman by Mary. Before Mary can inform Rose, she asks her to be her matron of honor.
