Mary's winning streak in Atlantic City takes a turn for the worse when she loses everything, including the $3000 she had promised Lester. Meanwhile, Warren reconnects with a mysterious woman, and Rose catches them in a compromising moment. This leads Rose to end their engagement, but neither of them wants the ring back, so Mary keeps it safe. Travis struggles with stage fright during the comedy show, prompting Dylan to step in for him. Although Dylan wins, he gets disqualified for not officially entering, leaving Pearl disappointed as she misses Luther's performance. After revealing her financial loss to Lester, Mary discovers that Rose's ring has been stolen. She confronts the thief, who turns out to be Warren's love interest. Warren confesses that he was using her to uncover her identity as the jewel thief who took Pearl's brooch and even Luther Vandross' watch. In a surprising twist, Rose and Warren tie the knot in Atlantic City after all. At the wedding, Luther thanks Mary
