Episode Overview
In the deceptive paradise of Theresienstadt, the Nazis orchestrate a facade for an upcoming visit from neutral observers, sprucing up the area, providing fresh clothing to residents, and creating staged scenes of contentment. The visit is a success, prompting the Nazis to commission a film, for which Aaron Jastrow is tasked with writing the script. Meanwhile, a final assassination attempt on Hitler occurs on July 20, 1944, leading to the execution of Count von Stauffenberg and fellow conspirators. Field Marshal Rommel suffers severe injuries in a car accident as a consequence of his involvement. In the Pacific, Pug Henry readies for the Battle of Leyte Gulf, while Byron takes command of his submarine. Nathalie and Aaron are sent to Auschwitz.
