Episode Overview

Nathalie and Aaron endure a harrowing four-day journey to Auschwitz, where upon arrival, one of them is tragically sent straight to the gas chambers. Meanwhile, in the Philippine Sea, Captain Byron Henry prepares for his inaugural mission aboard a submarine. As Hitler orchestrates a massive assault on Allied Forces in the Ardennes forest, the offensive begins in mid-December. However, by January 1945, overwhelming Allied air support thwarts the Nazi advance. As the Red Army pushes from the East, Himmler directs the destruction of all evidence of the death camps. In Yalta, the Allied leaders convene for their final discussions on the division of liberated territories.
