Episode Overview

In April 1945, the nation mourns the passing of FDR, shortly followed by the suicides of Hitler and his key associates. Pug Henry and Pamela Tudsbury celebrate their marriage, but their honeymoon is postponed when President Harry Truman requests Pug to serve as his naval aide. By May 8, 1945, Germany capitulates, signaling the conclusion of the war in Europe. Pug discovers that Nathalie is in the hospital, prompting Byron to arrange for a transfer to Europe where Pug embarks on a mission to locate Louis. Meanwhile, the U.S. drops atomic bombs on Japan, effectively ending World War II.
