Episode Overview

Macky and his friends are determined to free enslaved workers confined in the Roman granary, but their community is apprehensive about the potential fallout. Miriam, Sollie’s mother, inspires them by recounting the tale of Moses confronting the Egyptian overseer, and Macky soon garners enough backing to pursue the rescue. After liberating the captives, the group must cleverly conceal them from Roman authorities, leading to a series of comical mishaps as Diana, the theatrical wardrobe mistress, hides them in plain sight at the theater. Macky finds inspiration in the story of Paul's transformation on the Damascus Road, fostering hope that the Romans might eventually embrace change and abolish slavery.
