Episode Overview
Portia continues her efforts to bond with Macky’s relatives, while Diana discovers the tale of Ruth and Naomi, inspiring her to connect with others, including the newcomer Portia. Meanwhile, young Leah wanders off into the bustling streets and falls victim to the cunning Lydia, Portia’s tutor, who deceives her into a life of servitude in a workshop owned by Tobias. Macky recalls the Good Samaritan story to remind Samuel that Portia, despite her Roman heritage, can lend a hand. With help from Pontius the parrot, they successfully locate and liberate Leah, dismantling Tobias’s thriving business. Unbeknownst to them, Lydia’s fate remains uncertain—could she return to threaten their peace?
