Episode Overview

Ben’s friend, Don Miguel, arrives at the Ponderosa with his two daughters, Margarita and Elena, accompanied by Elena’s two nervous suitors. They’re en route to California to meet Margarita’s intended, Don Luis. However, Margarita's fiery temperament tends to frighten off any potential suitors. As the elder sister, she must marry before Elena, and her two suitors are growing increasingly frustrated. Meanwhile, Don Miguel worries that if Margarita turns down Don Luis, it will tarnish his reputation.
