Episode Overview

The Sergeant Major is determined to have the Concert Party perform guard duty and practice drills. However, the Colonel points out that their mismatched uniforms would make them look unfit for the role. To solve this, the Sergeant Major decides to convince the group to incorporate a 'military' number into their show, hoping it will unify their attire. Solly manages to acquire some uniforms and starts rehearsing 'The Road to Mandalay.' When the General visits the camp for an inspection, he notices the varied uniforms among the men. But when he spots the Sergeant Major leading the Concert Party in their coordinated outfits, he demands to examine them.
