In the bustling village of BallyK, Kathleen is the ultimate gossip, always aware of everyone’s affairs as the local grocery store owner. Her cousin, Nora Harrigan, takes on a position as Brian's housekeeper, stirring jealousy in Niamh, who is still mourning the loss of her baby—Ambrose’s child, too. Meanwhile, Brendan’s new students provide Niamh with a much-needed distraction as she skillfully manages their antics. As Nora takes charge of Brian's life, he begins to feel overwhelmed. Concerned about her past—two deceased husbands—he gets anxious about becoming her next target. An awkward encounter in the sauna with Father Mac only adds to his worries.
