Episode Overview
Ted, a special effects artist, is working on his prized invention, a mechanical gorilla named Kirby. Under pressure from his ruthless boss, Harry, to complete the project or risk losing his job, Ted pushes forward. That night, Kirby malfunctions and attacks Harry, sending him tumbling down the stairs, resulting in a fatal injury. When Ted discovers Harry’s lifeless body, he’s shocked to see Kirby has mysteriously shifted across the room, even though Ted had removed its Driver Board. Two boys go for a jog and help a girl who has forgotten her house key. One of the boys is smitten, but the girl keeps her distance, even when offering them lemonade. The following day, they return to find the house abandoned for two decades after a tragedy involving a girl’s suicide.
