Episode Overview

Midway through the semester, Paul Chandler, a charming and athletic student in a wheelchair, joins the class. Initially embraced by the study group, it soon becomes clear that Chandler is not as genuine as he appears; he is cunning, takes advantage of his circumstances, and is fiercely competitive. We discover that he has a personal connection with Kingsfield through his mother. Chandler's ruthless ambition comes to a head when he targets Hart, mistakenly believing Logan is Hart's girlfriend, and competes against Hart for a scholarship. However, a pivotal encounter in Kingsfield’s office forces Chandler to confront his true self, leading to a transformative realization.
