Episode Overview
In the sweltering heat, four new professional chefs arrive from different corners of the country to take on the challenge in the esteemed MasterChef kitchen. They begin with a daunting skills test. Two chefs will attempt to impress with Marcus Wareing’s challenge of crafting scallops accompanied by romesco sauce and a marinated tomato salad, while the other two face Monica’s task of preparing lambs' kidneys on toast with a madeira mustard sauce. After the initial test, the chefs have an opportunity to recover from any errors and dazzle the judges with two exceptional signature dishes. This is their moment to fight back and showcase their culinary talents. Once the clock runs out, the judges will determine which two chefs will be eliminated and which two will advance to the quarter-finals.
