Episode Overview

In the inaugural quarter-final, experienced chefs face the challenging assignment of crafting exceptional dishes from preserved and canned ingredients. Their creations will be evaluated by three of the UK’s most esteemed restaurant critics: Jimi Famurewa, William Sitwell, and Tracy Macleod. With the stakes high, the chefs aim to win the approval of these critics, as well as judges Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti, and Gregg Wallace. They have just 75 minutes to present a two-course menu, with only the top two competitors advancing to the semi-finals.
